Meetings start at 7:00pm and usually last about an hour and half.

The December Meeting is our holiday and dinner meeting where we usually have a short
business meeting and then enjoy fellowship and good food.
In July and August we meet as needed to work on our Banquet which is held in
Early September. (Sep.9,this year), Therefore,there is no meeting in September.

The Monocacy Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is a group of local
sportsmen, women and youth who care deeply about our natural resources and share the values of
family. fellowship and adventure. Last year we celebrated a special milestone- our 25th Anniversary
- and now we are moving forward with renewed commitment and enthusiasm.
We are currently part of a state wide effort to implement a Mentored Hunt Program.
We continue to host outdoor events for women and youth; focus on conservation and concentrate on the
preservation and education of the hunting heritage we all hold dear. We are a proud sponsor of
the National Archery in the Schools Program and Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry,
and are committed to continuing our support of these important programs. We also provide a scholarship
to a local high school senior to continue their education.
We are able to accomplish all this due to the dedication of our many volunteers and the support of
individuals and our business community.
